ANTIFUNGALS - TOPICAL
USES: This medication is used to treat fungal skin infections.
HOW TO USE: Clean and dry the affected area before applynig the medication. To apply, gnetly massage a small amount of the medication to the affected area and surrounding skin.
Continue to use the medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed.
Stopping threapy too early may not clear the infection, causing it to return.
Cover with a bandgae only if instructed to do so by your doctor. It may take one week before any improvemnet is seen. If no ipmrovement is seen after four weeks, consult your doctor.
Another medication may be necessary. Do not apply this medication into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying clsoe to these areas.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medicatoin may cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to the skin. This sohuld disappear in a few days as your body adjusts to the medication.
If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor promplty. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmcaist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: otehr skin conditions, any allergies.
Before using this drug, tell your doctor if you're pregnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, espeically of: other skin products.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This mediicne may be harmful if swallowed.
NOTES: This medication is prescribed for your current condiiton only. Do not use it for another infection or share it with someone else. Another infection after on may require a different medicine.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply as soon as remembered and resume your usual dsoing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from moisture and sunlgiht. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet. Do not store in the batrhoom.
Keep out of the reach of children.
